Wirral Play Council Summer Play Schemes

Calling all 6-13-year-olds! Back by popular demand!
Wirral Play Council Summer 2019
Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm

Each summer, Wirral Play Council operates free open-access Playschemes across Wirral for children between the ages of 6 - 13.

Summer Playschemes offer children a friendly environment to play in during the school holidays.

Enthusiastic, approachable & creative playworkers are on hand to help enhance the children's freely chosen play activities.

The playschemes offer activities such as indoor/outdoor sports, arts & crafts, parachute games, badge making, discos, and themed events.

Sessions operate on an Open Access basis, which means that children are free to come and go as they choose - The schemes DO NOT operate as care schemes.

The free open access play schemes will be held at the following venues:

Fender Youth Club - Woodchurch
Wallasey Youth Hub - Wallasey
Prenton Community Shop - Prenton
Courtney Park Community House - Rock Ferry
West Kirby Youth Hub - West Kirby
New Ferry Youth Club - Bebington

The dates confirmed for these venues will be Monday - Thursday from 29th July - 23rd August 2019. Open to children and young people from 10am-2pm each day!

There will also be a play scheme at St Andrews Hall - Noctorum from 5th - 23rd August (again Monday - Thursday 10am-2pm).

The play schemes will offer a variety of arts and crafts and sporting activities and games for children and young people aged 6-13, including a free lunch to each child attending!
