As we continue to support your child’s journey through primary school, we wanted to take a moment to remind you about a fantastic opportunity available to your family: free school meals.
Free school meals are about much more than providing lunch – they’re a powerful way to ensure your child has the nutrition they need to focus, learn, and thrive throughout the school day. Here are just a few reasons why signing up could benefit your child:
1. Every Eligible Family Benefits the School
All children from reception to YR2 receive universal free school meals. However, if you are eligible for free school meals we would strongly encourage you to apply, whichever year group your child is in. When more children participate in the free school meal programme, our school receives additional funding that helps support all students. This funding is used for school resources, extra-curricular activities, and even improvements to school facilities. By signing up, you’re helping our whole school community grow!
